Save Edgewater! Broadway Upzoning
On April 16, 2025, an ordinance was submitted to the Chicago City Council proposing a significant zoning change along Broadway and its cross streets in Edgewater. The proposal would rezone the area to B3-5, the highest-density classification for business districts under the city’s Zoning Code. Many residents are concerned that this sweeping change was introduced without a thorough community planning process. Without proper safeguards, the rezoning could significantly alter the character of Broadway and impact the overall livability of our neighborhood.
ENN-NEON Summer BBQ Planning Meeting
This meeting is open to anyone and everyone interested in joining the annual ENN-NEON BBQ picnic/meeting planning committee.
Sue Fox will hold a planning meeting for the ENN-NEON Block Club Summer BBQ / Members' Meeting at her place, located at 6250 N Magnolia Ave, at 6:00 pm on July 10, 2025.
Last year's picnic meeting was a huge success that not only evolved into an incredible spread of food & drinks and music (and fun!), but also recruited many new members to join our ENN-NEON block club.
